If you have always had an interest in sculpture, the three-day course at Rossnaree House in Slane, Co Meath, could be of interest. Owner Aisling Law is running art courses over the summer to introduce people to sculpture. The course begins with the anatomy of the head and provides a strong foundation in the art of sculpture. One course costs €275 with lunch using homegrown produce from the country estate’s walled garden and covers all art materials. Students can also stay at Rossnaree for a reduced rate of €100 per night. The course runs from 31 July to 2 August and 14 to 16 August. To book, contact Rossnaree House on 041-9820975 or email info@rossnaree.ie.
