Despite his best efforts to keep the family afloat, Owen is declared bankrupt this week and is forced to let the bailiffs take all his belongings. As Anna reaches out to him, it looks like the couple may be able to put the past behind them. However, when Sally and Tim offer to let Faye stay with them to ease the pressure, Anna is insulted and pays a visit to the food bank to feed her family.

Following a heated discussion with Ian, in which he issues him with an ultimatum about Rainie, Patrick collapses to the ground. Denise and Kim are heartbroken when they realise Patrick has had a stroke, while Ian is secretly relieved to learn he is unable to speak. As his guilt gets the better of him, Ian starts to avoid Denise and Patrick, leaving Masood to fill the void.

As Finn continues to drown his sorrows, he finally admits to Victoria that he needs to know why his mum left and is determined to track her down. As they talk, neither of them notice a man listening intently to their story. Later on, the man introduces himself to Finn as Brad and the pair start to chat. Brad continues to buy Finn drinks and it’s not long before they are heading off in his car. However, Brad is not all he seems as he ties Finn up and parks his car in the barn with the engine running. As toxic fumes fill the barn, Brad leaves Finn to die. Who is Brad?
Fair City
Finally out of hospital, Christy moves in with Sean and Ama and as he thanks the couple for all they have done, it’s clear he’s struggling with his recovery and the idea of sleeping in a converted living room. Later that day, determined to get better quickly, Christy refuses to use the downstairs commode and tries to make his way upstairs. However, he’s left humiliated when despite Sean’s help he doesn’t make the bathroom in time and wets himself. An email from Farrah with pictures of her wedding day proves to be the final nail in the coffin for a depressed Christy.
