A burger lover’s heaven using all Irish beef, the menu also boasts a variety of chicken, beef, bacon and fish burgers with even a ‘no bull’ burger for veggies. Ramen
Ramen, a restaurant offering Asian street food, opened its doors to the people of Cork last December. Located a bit off the beaten track on Anglesea Street, this tiny, trendy little eatery now has a cult following among Cork locals. Not surprising, given the fresh food, with authentic street-food flavours cooked with flames in front of your eyes by an army of Asian chefs. You can choose from rice or noodle dishes with a range of meat and seafood and mouth-watering sides. Chopsticks and bowls are optional as you can eat straight out of the carton. A special treat after your main dish is the free ice-cream cone that you can pour yourself. In an astonishingly short period of time, a second Ramen opened at Dennehy’s Cross. For the students of UCC and CIT, this was a dream come true. Well worth a visit, Ramen is open until 10pm. Online ordering is available at www.ramen.ie or find out more at facebook.com/RamenCork
