Kverneland Group Ireland Ltd will be displaying a range of equipment from the Kverneland, RAU, McConnel and Accord line-up. The Kverneland Qualidisc harrow, the McConnel Grassland Shakaerator, plus a number of new products, are among the many to feature at this year’s Grass & Muck.

Kverneland Taarup has introduced a new 3.2m centre-mounted mower conditioner which will be exhibited for the first time at Grass & Muck 2014. Nylon tines fitted to the conditioner keep the weight of the machine to a minimum, while retaining aggressive conditioning action.

The mowing unit is suspended by a large spring and is transported in the vertical position. Fitted as standard is a two-speed conditioner rotor and unique auto-reset break-back. This new model mower can also be used in combination with a TA3632FT front-mower, giving you a cutting width of over 21ft, with a low horsepower and lift requirement.

Kverneland Taarup expands its range of 2800-series centre-mounted disc mowers, with the introduction of the new 2.8m, 3.2m, 3.6m and 4m versions. Called the 2800 M-series, the new models feature a heavy-duty cutterbar with round discs, centre suspension, two-speed driveline, non-stop break-back and vertical transport position of up to 125°.

The new 2800 M-range is centre-suspended via a suspension spring, to give an even weight distribution across the complete mower width.

The series is fitted with Kverneland Taarup’s in-house designed and manufactured cutterbar. The cutterbar is designed for hard work and heavy use, with a fully-welded design to eliminates oil leaks. Round discs ensure that stones are expelled immediately. All 2800 models fold hydraulically into a vertical transport position.

The New Kverneland Taarup 9590 C Hydro rake, with 9m working width, features hydraulically-adjustable working width between 8m to 9m, giving a swath width of 1.20m up to 2.2m. Fitted as standard is the Kverneland DUO Tines and ProLine gearbox, which is maintenance-free and designed for heavy-duty use.

Inner tine arm shafts can be individually removed and the new cam-track design leaves the crop faster in combination with the curved tine arms. All of the main hydraulic functions are controlled by an in-cab electro-mechanical terminal. The rake can be lowered hydraulically to below 4m for transport.

The Kverneland Taarup 5090 MT with BX Swath Belt, 9m butterfly mower combination is now available with Isobus control plus new intuitive joystick control. The 5090 MT can be controlled directly by Isobus-compatible tractors, so there is no need for a separate terminal.

All the main functions of the 5090 MT can be transferred to the new Kverneland Group joystick and directly to the tractor joystick. This means that the same lever can operate both the mower and the tractor. The joystick is compact in size and easy to place right next to the operator.
