NC Engineering, established in 1976, manufactures agricultural and industrial machinery, including a new FH225 telehandler, grain and silage trailers, root crop trailers and bale trailers, slurry pumps, vacuum and top-fill slurry tankers, rotary sweepers, Link-a-Sweepers, slurry separators, dump trailers, low loaders and site dumpers.

NC will be showing the new FH225 telehandler in action at the FTMTA Grass and Muck event. The telehandler has a maximum lift height of 4.69m and a maximum safe load-handling capacity of 2.4t. The new artic steer loader is powered by a four-cylinder, 100hp Deutz engine, which develops a maximum torque of 350Nm at 1,500rpm.

Drive-train includes a four-speed power-shift transmission and full limited slip differentials on its axles. Standard tyres are 405/70R20s all-round. A load-sensing hydraulic pump provides an oil flow of 90 litres/min for steering and boom hydraulics.

For the operator, there is a large, glass cab for good visibility and two large, glass doors for easy access.

The ergonomic joystick control of loader boom incorporates transmission directional control and an adjustable steering column, plus an adjustable seat to provide a comfortable working environment for the operator.

The NC FH225 is of a heavy-duty construction and provides rough terrain performance from permanent four-wheel drive. It is fitted with hydraulic power brakes on both axles.

Standard features include super-bright warning lights on the instrument display, road lights, front and rear work lights, reversing alarm and pin and cone attachment on the implement tool-carrier.
