At FTMTA Grass & Muck 2014 Teagle will demonstrate the Teagle Titan range of rear-discharge dung spreaders. Following extensive development, Teagle Machinery is now delivering the Titan to both domestic and international customers.
The five-model range offers capacities from 6m3 to 15m3. The machines are built in a recently-commissioned muck spreader facility at the Teagle factory in Cornwall, England.
In the range the are 6m3 and 8m3 models, which claim to be suited to smaller units and offering great manoeuvrability. The crossover 9m3 model, Titan 9, offers an economic alternative.
Larger 10m3 and 12m3 models, extendable up to 15m3 with greedy boards, are suitable for heavy-duty users or contractors.
All models are well proportioned to ensure stability, manoeuvrability and ground clearance. Loading is easy thanks to the low height of the sides. For greater driveline protection from foreign objects, a set of swinging flails sit at the base of the beater and have been developed to fold back under shock loading.
For lighter materials, such as poultry manure, a series of paddles can be fitted in lieu of the beater tips. These further improve the discharge rate and spreading width.
As output becomes increasingly important for farmers and contractors alike, the tall beater system, which is fitted as standard across all models, offers a massive discharge rate. Options include electric control of the bed chain, a sprung drawbar, greedy boards, wide angle PTO and a cam clutch and various oversized wheels for reduced ground compaction.
During manufacture all seams are continuously welded or sealed to prevent corrosion. The machines are shot blasted and primed prior to getting a baked paint finish. All beaters are dynamically balanced by Teagle for smooth running and longevity of the machine.
Teagle also manufacture the Tomahawk range of livestock feeders and bedders. The company also manufactures a range of fertilizer spreaders, the Super-Ted swath conditioner and a range of grasscare equipment, including finishing mowers, roller mowers and pasture toppers.
In addition to manufacturing agricultural machinery, Teagle also distribute flail mulchers and arable equipment from the Dutch firm Tulip and Italian firm Berti.
These products include the Polymat pneumatic drill, disc and tine cultivators from the Multidisc and Vario ranges, and the Roterra power harrow.
The Berti range of products includes flail mowers and mulchers for both the agricultural and forestry industries.
Teagle now offer over 60 different models, from a mini garden flail mulcher for a 12hp compact tractor through to forestry mulchers for tractors up to 300hp.
