Weidemann’s eHoftrac prototype loader was shown at last year’s Agritechnica Show. It is a battery-operated small loader that works very quietly and is seen as being gentle on operators, animals and neighbours.
The machine was developed based on a classic Weidemann Hoftrac type 1160 loader so that it can work with all attachments from the Weidemann product range. The same stability and tipping load as the 1160 standard machine can be achieved thanks to the placement of the 400kg battery.
The company claims that, depending on the application profile, one charge of the replaceable lead battery with 48 volts of battery voltage and 240Ah energy content suffices for two to four working hours. The charging time is specified at six to eight hours.
Weidemann has also introduced emissions level IIIB-compliant wheel loaders with new engine technology.
The 4080 and 5080 loaders replace the 4070CX and 4270CXT models and were primarily designed for larger agricultural operations.
They are available as fixed loaders or telescopic versions with the T designation.
Weidemann has a new entry model T4108, as well as a new T5522 telehandler. The latter machine is a 4.2t model for the middle telescopic loader class. It also has a new and larger telescopic loader T5522 with 4.2t to close the gap between the previous entry model T4512 and the strong T6025.
Weidemann loaders are imported into Ireland by Wilson’s of Rathkenny, Co Antrim.
