Over £38,000 has been raised so far for the RSABI Great Glen Challenge, which took place on Friday 26 August. Donations are still open for another few weeks and a target is in place to raise £50,000.
This year’s event, sponsored by Ledingham Chalmers, had 108 competitors from 21 organisations throughout the Scottish agricultural and rural business sector. The multi-sport course was 46km from Fort Augustus to Benavie by Fort William. Competitors mountain biked, kayaked, walked and ran their way down the Great Glen against the clock.
“Congratulations to the team from Davidson & Robertson, who worked superbly well together to take home the 2017 trophy,” said the event founder, Paul Tinson. “They obviously had all the bases covered, with another of their teams seizing the wooden spoon as well.”
