Ireland might have gone Gathering mad in 2013, but 18-22 February will actually mark the 16th anniversary of The Gathering traditional music and dance festival in Killarney. Taking place at the INEC and the Gleneagle hotel, this year’s lineup will include Arcady, A Stór mo Chroí, the Unwanted, Jackie Daly, Uí Bhriain and Striolán Ceilí Band, while, as an added bonus, the festival will also provide a platform for young rising trad stars.
