Matthews of Oldcastle will hold its annual no-reserve auction this Sunday 29 May at the historic mill buildings of Slane in Co Meath. All entries, cleared from various properties in Meath and Dublin during the past year, have been removed to the old Transport Museum buildings and will be sold without reserve. Perfect for collectors on a budget, landlords and business owners, the entries comprise antiques, modern and contemporary items as well as various collectables and oddities. The auction starts at 12 noon and will be on public view from Friday. While every effort will be made to have all the lots illustrated online (www.matthewsauctionrooms.com) some may not, so viewing in person is recommended.
