A West Limerick family are paying tribute to their late father – and raising vital funds for Milford Hospice – with a new Irish traditional music album. John and Jacki O’Connor recorded The Hills of Old Kilcolman as a tribute to their father, Jackie, who passed away from cancer in 2008, aged 50. The album features music and songs associated with their local area, including favourites of their father’s. Priced at €15 (plus €2 p&p), proceeds are going to Milford Hospice as a thank you for the support given to their family during Jackie’s illness. The album is being featured on West Limerick 102FM, where Jacki presents The Trad Scene every Saturday between 6-8pm.
