Berthoud showcased its latest Tracker 40, 4,000l trailed sprayer alongside its flagship Vantage Dark series.
The Tracker 40 expands the French manufacturer’s existing sprayer series, which previously stopped at 3,200l.
Not only is the tanker 800l larger, but cosmetically the chassis and boom colour scheme have been updated.
The chassis design has been slightly modified, so too has the induction hopper, which is also larger at 45l.
A gyroscope-controlled steering axle is also now optionally available.
As an option to the standard 235l/min Comet pump, customers can opt for a 330l/min pump from its sister brand Hardi (both of which are part of the Exel Group).
Track width is 1.8m as standard, with the option of a 2.25m track also available. Both Axiale and Axiale B3 booms are available, in either two- or three-part folding configurations, in lengths from 24m to 33m.
Both section and individual nozzle control options are available.
