Trelleborg, the well-known brand within the Yokohama Group has launched a new TM800 PowerFlex tyre for high horsepower tractors that are used both in the field and on the road.
The new range combines ProgressiveTraction lugs, VF-PFO technology for improved traction at lower inflation pressures. The TM800 PowerFlex has an integrated central rib which according to Trelleborg improves stability and ride comfort.
According to the brands field tests, the TM800 PowerFlex offers up to 20% more traction that the competition and has a 5% wider contact patch, further reducing compaction. The redesigned intermediate rib is claimed to offer 5% better self-cleaning and a reduced rolling resistance by 6%. All in all, the new technology is said to extend tyre life by 20% according to the manufacturer.

The TM800 PowerFlex is now available in two sizes (650/65R38 and 540/65R28) with four more sizes to be offered within the coming months.

Trelleborg has also expanded its ProgressiveTraction range with six new sizes available. Alongside which a new 5,000-hour warranty on ProgressiveTraction tyres has been introduced. The warranty is activated by registered in the Premium Care Portal.
