Hogan’s Turkeys in Co Meath is offering approximately 50 short-term jobs in its factory in Cortown, Kells. Extra staff is needed in the three weeks leading up to Christmas to help with packing, boning and slaughtering. The roles are part-time and pay minimum wage. Hogan’s Turkey is also hoping to take on a full-time R&D technologist in the new year to assist with product creating, testing, innovating and bringing goods to marketplace.

Candidates need a food science qualification and should be able to deal with sales.

Grove Turkeys in Monaghan normally recruits 200 people to help in the weeks leading up to Christmas, but these positions are filled for this year.
