Lough Eske Castle founder Pat Doherty OBE and his son John Paul Doherty planted 15 oak trees to mark the anniversary of the hotel

Lough Eske Castle in Co Donegal recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. Over 100 guests attended the main event, which showcased the finest local food and drink produce. ?Before the main event, hotel founder Pat Doherty OBE planted 15 Irish oak trees on the estate to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the hotel.
For the occasion, Donegal born, award-winning artist Alva Gallagher created the ‘Lucent Pearl’ artwork. The piece symbolises the beautiful surrounding Donegal coastline.
Donegal football legend Packie Bonner commended Pat Doherty in renovating the five-star hotel. He stated that it’s “phenomenal to see what this castle has done for tourism in Donegal and the Northwest of Ireland.”

Dónal Cox, General Manager of Lough Eske Castle nodded to upcoming announcements,? including “a new whiskey tasting experience in collaboration with Sliabh Liag Distillery, 24 new suites being added ?next year and new experiences including hot tubs being added to our CARA Organic Beauty Spa.”
