The International Mayfly Festival takes place in Oughterard, Co Galway, from 7 to 10 May. The festival celebrates angling and the Lough Corrib area, with historical, artistic and angling events, and plenty of sports activities, the Taste of Lough Corrib event and plenty of music and entertainment. Angling enthusiasts will enjoy the display of traditional angling memorabilia, and the main event for the weekend, the international angling competition.
