Prices for continentals ranged mainly from £1.41/kg for a 590kg Limousin to £1,368/kg for a 680kg Limousin. Holsteins and Friesians sold for about £1.19/kg. Fat heifers sold from £1.44/kg for a 610kg Limousin to £1.73/kg for a 630kg Charolais.
There was a small entry of store bullocks on offer on the day. Forward stores from 500kg to 600kg sold to £2.00/kg for a 550kg British Blue, which made £1,100. Other forward types made from £1.56/kg for a 620kg bullock upwards. Lighter stores from 400kg to 500kg sold mainly from £2.00/kg to a top price of £2.32/kg for a 460kg bullock. Lighter types under 400kg sold from £490 for 300kg to £885 for 400kg.

Store heifers were met with steady demand and forward lots sold mainly from £1.70/kg to £1.85/kg, depending on quality. Lesser-quality types were a slightly easier trade. Lighter types were a stronger trade and sold mainly from £1.70/kg to £2.20/kg.
The trade for weanling bulls was solid with prices ranging mainly from £745 for 350kg to £870 for 420kg, while a top-quality 360kg bull made £820. Weanling heifers sold from £670 for 340kg to £890 for 380kg. Suckler cows sold from £1,200 to £1,800 with lesser-quality types making from £880 to £1,175.
