Can-Am has announced updates to its ATV and UTV line-up for 2022. The Traxter UTV is set to offer more power than before in the low-horsepower class.

It is now available with the Rotax HD7 engine which is set to replace the existing HD5.

Not only is it said to offer 37% more power, but will also run quieter with less vibrations in comparison with the HD5.

The Maverick Trail 700 will be fitted with the HD7 engine as standard.

The HD9 engine option now replaces the HD8 in the Traxter line-up, also delivering a 30% power increase over its predecessor.

ABS

Aside from engine upgrades, Can-Am has added ABS on some of its HD9 and HD10 models. These models which benefit from traction control are no longer limited to 60km/h.

In its ATV department, Can-Am is expanding its Visco-4Lok system which engages 4wd with the push of a button.

It will now be available on all 2022 Outlander and Renegade X mr packages, as well as the Outlander XU (650-1000), Outlander XXC, Outlander XT-P, and Outlander MAX Limited models.
