This year marks the third online auction of young stock from the noted Caramba herd of pedigree beef Shorthorn cattle.

The sale is special in the way it is undertaken, with all stock offered for sale through the online platform www.pedigreesale.co.uk.

A total of 18 lots will be offered for sale this year, with proceedings kicking off on April 21 at 3pm. Four bulls and 14 heifers make up the sale with breeder Tom Staunton assuring that this year’s line-up is “the best quality yet” and promises that breeders won’t be disappointed with the display.

The online sales platform, which has been tweaked and changed over the years, not only offers breeders an online bidding platform but also an unrivalled buying experience due to the quick availability of all lot details, pictures and videos at the click of a finger.

In advance of the sale, owner Tom Staunton will be welcoming interested parties to his farm this Saturday (14 April) to view all of the lots on offer. This offers a golden opportunity to inspect dams and in many cases sires of the sale stock.

The meeting point for those wishing to attend is Mother Hubbard’s, Kilcolgan, Co Galway at 11am.

For further details, Tom can be contacted on 086-604 7333 or through the website www.pedigreesales.co.uk.
