The community of Craanford in Co Wexford has come up with a wonderful way to celebrate the memory of the late Ann Whitty, who passed away in April.
Ann was renowned for her scrumptious pavlovas, so as a tribute to her, there will be a Great Pavlova Bake-off as a fundraiser for the parish during the field day celebrations on Sunday 16 July.
The entry fee is €10 and submissions must be in by noon on Sunday to be in with a chance to win the perpetual cup, as well as a hamper.
