The Ramble Inn, Antrim, will host a dance in support of Friends of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital on Thursday, 25 September. Jason McGilligan, Shauna McStravock, Fiddler Adam, Damian McCarthy, Alastair Coyles, Paul Donnelly, Gareth Pritchard, Aidan Quinn, Gerry Guthrie, Paul Kelly and Stephen Doherty will be on the stage. The venture is being coordinated by Lorna Nesbitt in memory of her parents Bill and Doris Nesbitt and uncle John Young.

Margo O’Donnell will play a concert show in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport on Sunday, 5 October. The Donegal legend is celebrating 50 years in showbiz this year and is doing a number of shows to mark the occasion. Margo’s new book on her life and times is due out this week and looks set to be a bestseller.
Alanna Quinn has released her latest single That Don’t Bother Me. This is a follow-up to her summer release Home to Louisiana. Alanna traveled west to Roscommon to record the song under the guidance of Wayne Thorose, who is also a member of the Robert Mizzell Band.
George Langan has compiled a new six-track release. It includes his own tribute songs to Mike Denver and Margo, as well as another self-penned number Your Love I Could Not Buy. Also included are, Among the Wicklow Hills and Little Old Mud Cabin. George has a great love for the country music scene.
