Renault has extended it recall to 394 Captur models to cover vehicles produced up to March 2015. This is an extension to the recall which was announced in April this year. Renault said that there is a potential of a low leakage from both front flexible brake hoses or in extreme cases a sudden bursting of the flexible hose, which could lead to risk of brake fluid loss and cause reduced braking efficiency.
Renault is also recalling 1,675 Clio IV cars in Ireland, which were manufactured between March 2013 and September 2014. Renault said that there is a potential of a low leakage from both front flexible brake hoses or in extreme cases a sudden bursting of the flexible hose. This could lead to risk of brake fluid loss and cause reduced braking efficiency.
Honda Ireland is recalling 824 Jazz and Insight models from 2007 to 2011 due to a potential problem with the front driver air bag inflator. The airbag could deploy abnormally in a crash which could possibly lead to injury.

Peugeot Ireland has announced a voluntary recall of its 308 II model. It is possible that the front suspension wishbone mounting screws could break. This may cause a difficulty for the driver to control the vehicle’s path. There are 797 affected vehicles in Ireland.
