The Golf Trendline Van is based on Ireland's best-selling car, the 7th-generation Volkswagen Golf. The Golf van costs €16,280 excluding VAT (€19,995 inclusive of VAT). Annual road tax is €333.
The new van, based on the three-door Golf car, is powered by a 90bhp 1.6 litre TDI engine. It has a load capacity of 1,310 litres.

Standard equipment includes leather steering wheel, front centre armrest, 5" touch-screen “Composition Colour” radio system, climatic air conditioning and a multi-function display.
There is a Business Package available as a €695 option. This gives a 5.8” “Composition Media” radio system, Bluetooth, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and a media input for iPod/iPhone.
