All Stradbally Farm Services fencers use Output Joule Technology to ensure adequate voltage on the fence wire for effective livestock control and peace of mind for farmers.

All Pel fencers are rated in output joules (the real horse power of a fencer). By using output joule technology, Pel fencers are designed to power through heavy vegetation even when wet.

The use of Bi Polar and Cyclic Wave Technology ensures a cleaner pulse of voltage along greater distances of fence wire. Output ranges from 1-36 output joules.

Pel Insulators and accessories are manufactured from high-density polyethylene and are designed to ensure voltage remains on the fence wire and avoid voltage loss through arcing or leakage through porous or poor quality insulators.

Solar fencing

Early in 2000 Pel started to produce a range of efficient solar-powered fencers. After much research and development, the Pel PE702S was produced. This is a totally integrated solar-powered strip grazer with the fencer, battery and solar panel in one integrated cabinet for portability. It is 0.16 output joules and is capable of energising 1.5km-2km of polytape of polywire. The PE705S is a 0.5 output joule unit capable of powering 6km-8km of tape or polywire.

The unique design ensures 25% of unused power is recycled back to the battery. This, combined with the effectiveness of the solar panel, means the fencer can perform for up to 21 days in total darkness.

Milkflo calf feeder

This calf feeder comes with screw-in peach teats as standard. They are manufactured from high-density polyethlene and are designed and manufactured to the highest standards. They are available in flat-bottom or compartment models and are in a range of sizes from 1-15 station fence or gate hung models. There are 20 station free standing circular models available, and mobile units ranging from 40-60 station in either manifold or open trough models.
