Donegal’s Proper Job Macra club pulled a Massey Ferguson 35 tractor from Donegal town to Raphoe. Setting off from the Diamond in Donegal at 10am, a team of 12 to18 club members pulled the tractor a total of 44km, reaching Raphoe around 6pm.

The event was organised by club chair Matthew Lecky as well as club members. All money raised from local businesses and from collections on the day will go to the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland's Donegal branch.

The crew pulled the Massey Ferguson 35 at average speeds of 5km/h and were accompanied by a support bus and a lead tractor, which pulled a straw trailer equipped with signs from sponsors.

The crew arrived at their destination just after 6pm after eight hours of pulling.
