The first foal by No Nay Never’s dual Group 1-winning two-year-old son Blackbeard (pictured above) was born on Tuesday when the Frank Hutchinson-owned Arabic Charm (by Exceed And Excel), winner of two races, produced a bay filly.

This filly is the first foal born sired by Dubawi Legend, who stands under the Compas Stallions banner at Micheál Orlandi’s Starfield Stud in Mullingar.

Bred by Violet Hesketh and Mimi Wadham of WH Bloodstock, the foal is the first foal out of Kazakdaria (by Harzand) and is currently boarding at Manister House Stud in Co Limerick. Luke Barry said of the foal: “She oozes quality with a cat’s prowl of a walk and she’s huge too. I’ll be advising a return visit.”

By Dubawi, Dubawi Legend finished second to Native Trail in the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes at two. He won at Group 3 level at three and his fee for 2024 is €6,000.

This filly foal is the first born sired by the mighty Baaeed, born at Haras de la Perelle in Normandy on 21 January.
