Keenan’s open day has something for everyone

Keenan's of Borris is holding an open day this coming Wednesday, with an invitation for all to see their range of new and quality secondhand machines available.

There will be a machine to suit every budget.

The popular fully approved secondhand machines have received Keenan’s special 60-point factory check, which essentially is a full run-through, providing purchasers with full peace of mind. In addition to the range of offers, there will be special finance rates available.

Visitors will have an opportunity to receive a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Keenan production facility. Attendees will witness the latest innovations from Keenan’s very own InTouch service, the award-winning feed management technology.

Seminars

There will be four technical seminars from Alltech’s dairy and beef specialists taking place on the day. The dairy seminars will take place at 2pm and 4pm and will be delivered by Cathal Bohane and Eddie Phelan, while the beef seminars will take place at 3pm and 5pm and will be delivered by Richard Dudgeon and Gerry Giggins.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to speak to InTouch nutritionists to get the latest insights into a range of topics such as managing forage stocks and achieving maximum output in Irish dairy and beef systems.

A number of leading Irish ag tech companies will be in attendance, including Herdwatch, Grasstec, Moocall, Maizetech and Samco. Visitors will learn how these technologies and services can support and help improve day-to-day farming.

There will be a full complement of Keenan machines on display ranging from 10 to 28 cubic metres. This variety comes from the renowned paddle range to the more recent vertical assortment in addition to the all new and exciting concept of the 177hp Keenan self-propelled machine on display.
