Henry Shefflin joined Kilkenny triplets Charley, Abigail and Isabelle Tynan to help launch the Friends of The Coombe 2015 charity calendar, which aims to raise €40,000 for Ireland’s most premature babies. The calendar tells the story of 24 babies from across the country who between them spent a combined 40 months in the hospital’s neonatal unit.
More than 1,000 infants a year spend their first days in the hospital’s neonatal unit, with the Coombe caring for some of Ireland’s sickest babies, including the largest number of babies born weighing less than 1.5kg.
