23 March: Starring Irish actor Liam Neeson, Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House, is based on a true story which tells the tale of a former FBI agent who passed on information to The Washington Post and helped expose one of the greatest scandals of all time, Watergate. Mark Felt was given the nickname “Deep Throat” as the true identity of the secret informant remained a mystery for more than 30 years. This incredible story, which took place in 1972 following the Nixon White House burglary, reveals how Mark Felt risked everything to free the truth.

23 March: 24-year-old David Keenan will be performing at Coughlan’s bar in Cork city for one night only as part of his Strip Me Bare tour. The singer-songwriter from Dundalk found fame after a video of him singing in a local taxi went viral. Since then, his career has continued to boom. David’s lyrics lie somewhere between poetry and prose and when he puts the power of his unique voice behind his words, audiences venture with him into the depths of his creative imagination. On receiving a shiny button accordion, Sharon is thrust into the local limelight and is subjected to the pressure of her ex-showband star father and her Midwest radio-loving mother. Things take a dramatic turn when Sharon starts to wonder if Frank the Accordion might have her cursed. 22 March: Based upon the novel, What Would Ma Say by Kathleen Doyle, this hilarious play tells the story of her remarkable family and their exploits growing up in Dublin in the tenements in the 1950s and her teenage years in Crumlin in the early 1960s. Kathleen describes her mother as an ordinary woman with very little education behind her, and this stage adaptation provides a perfect reason to gather your gal pals for a night of laughter and great entertainment at the Riverbank Arts Theatre in Newbridge.
