The Dealer likes to maintain a low profile at all times but I know that’s not everyone’s style.

A trio of high-profile Irish personalities arrived at the Ploughing in a helicopter last week in true celebrity style.

Louis Walsh, Vogue Williams and Glenda Gilson, were flown to Screggan by the National Dairy Council.

I’m told the NDC was overwhelmed by the volume of media requests for time with the trio and, with a limited number of hours booked with the celebs, the NDC needed to maximise its opportunity to spread the dairy message.

Due to the traffic challenges accessing the Screggan site by car, the NDC decided that it was more time-efficient to fly Louis, Glenda and Vogue by helicopter to Screggan.
