AgriSpread is impressing punters on the world stage with its new AS3000 Series, designed to offer wider spreading widths, higher spread rates and faster working speeds.

It launched three models at the event this week, namely the AS3120 single axle (11.9m3 or 13.7m3), the AS3150T tandem axle (17m3) and the AS3220T tandem axle (21m3).

According to the manufacturer, through extensive test hall and in-field evaluations, the rear twin hydraulic folding conveyor feed twin disc spreader can achieve spread widths of up to 48 metres for urea, over 52 metres for mineral granular fertilisers and up to 30 metres for drier bulk products such as limes, gypsum, basalt, sand and organic fertilisers.

The machine’s outer disc and conveyor design are 3.05m from centre, while the spreading discs are positioned 850mm high. AgriSpread opted for a PTO hydrostatic tandem hydraulic piston pump system, which it says achieves the oil flow required to meet application rates at wider spread widths and higher forward speeds.

The IsoBus software interface controls all aspects of the spreader including priming to preload the conveyors with product on initial start-up and stationary clean-out functions.

It features an IsoBus automatic precision electric rear door actuator control, fold up/unfold positions of the conveyors, left and right independent headland border control and section control.
