The Forager X10 was re-engineered and launched in winter 2015, with enhanced features to make them 25% stronger. Drive components are now capable of withstanding forces in excess of 50,000 newtons, and more powerful hydraulics give better capabilities to work with heavier bales, according to Blaney Agri.
Triple feed-out spikes, a new bale chamber and side rollers are designed to deal with difficult, oddly shaped bales. The X10 is now more compact for getting into tight spaces and narrow passageways. Its safety guards to protect livestock from injury are now 50% stronger, according to Blaney.

The X10 is available in a three-point linkage version, as well as loader-mounted, allowing it to be fitted to any front loader. Silage can be fed along passageways, into feeders or used to unroll into mixer wagons to speed up processing times. For those with troughs or barriers to feed over, the X10 is also available with extension sides for getting silage into these hard-to-reach feeding areas.
Blaney claims the Forager X10 will save hours of daily labour and can reduce bale waste by approximately 20%. For more information, contact Blaney on 0044 282 5872 861.
