The Bomford Kestrel, Hawk and Falcon hedgecutters have all received the EVO treatment with the Hawk range being the latest to receive the EVO makeover.

The EVO treatment includes new curvy styling, wrap around bumper bar with LED lights and covers to protect vulnerable hydraulic and electrical components.

EVO hedgecutter specifications vary from the Kestrel EVO E, a three-point linkage machine with a 5m reach all the way up to the axle mounted variant of the Falcon EVO Parallel with telescopic 6.5m reach and power slew.

Hydraulic control options include cable control, low pressure hydraulic control (LPH), electric proportional parallel control (EPPIII) and an intelligent control system.

James Cuthbertson, Bomford’s director of sales and marketing, explained: “We have re-vamped the whole Bomford range of hedgecutters from the most basic models to the top end machine, with the introduction of the new EVO series. The new look replaces the boxy look of the older machines.”

The ICS is a full specification, proportional control system for the hedgecutter’s hydraulic functions. James said. “The system allows the driver to programme different speeds even for the hydraulic rams on the hedgecutter.”
