Breens Farm Machinery originally moved to Ennis in 2013 and since then has grown its business and customer base in the area and surrounding county. On the strength of this, the decision was made to build a purpose-designed 10,000ft2 garage on a 1.5ac site, with work beginning in December 2015. Ten months later, the new garage was open for business.
Breens employs six full-time staff in Ennis, including two store persons, three mechanics and one salesman with all administration done from the main branch in Cashel.
Opening hours are from 8.30am to 6pm on Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to 1pm on Saturday, with an after-hour’s service available during the busy seasons.
Commenting on the new premises, managing director Conor Breen said: “The new garage shows our commitment to our customers and key suppliers as well as the long-term viability of Breens to the farming and plant industry.”
Breens is the main dealer for the Claas range of tractors, telehandlers and green line equipment, Takeuchi excavators, Doosan power products, Kramer loaders, Redrock trailers and slurry equipment, Cross range of machinery, MX front loaders, Sulky fertiliser spreaders, Gregoire Besson ploughs, Tehnos firewood processors, Yamaha quads, Tajfun mulchers, Keltec machinery, Triolet diet feeders, Bargam sprayers, Watson equipment and Zocon machinery.
