The findings of a governance review of the board of Bord Bia and its chair Larry Murrin are to be published this week.
The Department of Agriculture hired Governance Ireland to carry out the review, which took three months to complete.
The board of Bord Bia, which includes the IFA president and ICMSA president, is to be briefed on the findings on Friday afternoon.
In February, the IFA began a five week-long protest at Bord Bia HQ in Dublin and called for Murrin to be removed after it was revealed that Murrin’s company, Dawn Farm Foods, had imported Brazilian beef.
The IFA stood down its protest on foot of the review. Bord Bia would not comment when queried by the Irish Farmers Journal if it had re-instated security at its head office in recent days.
