Lemken returned to Cereals this year, where it debuted its latest Solitair NT no-till disc drill – after it arrived into the country in the nick of time.
For now, only available in a 6m working width, the NT is equipped with two rows of 480mm ProDisc single-disc coulters.
These coulters are capable of placing seed and fertiliser into tilled or untilled land, using up to 340kg of downwards force.
Coulter pressure can be adjusted electro-hydraulically or automatically as an option.
Lemken has gone with a 10-degree undercut and seven-degree attack angle for reliable soil penetration in all conditions. The integrated rubber press wheels control seeding depth, ranging from 0 to 10cm. Row spacing is 16.7cm.
The depth is adjusted without tools via a preloaded lever for each seed coulter.
A series of steel wheels with adjustable angle and pressure settings work to close the seeding furrow. Customers can opt for the 4,400l single hopper or a 5,100l split hopper.
A 200l Multihub pneumatic seeder can be added for metering smaller seeds and to further increase the drill’s versatility.
