Sumo T-Press for shallow cultivations

UK manufacturer Sumo showcased its latest T-Press cultivator, designed to till, level and press ploughed or cultivated soil/stubble in a single pass ahead of drilling. Available in 4.6, 5.6m and 6.6m configurations, the T-Press features two rows of heavy-duty staggered tines, spaced at 328mm and designed to work up to 150mm. Either standard 60mm points or optional 310mm wide points can be fitted.

Following suit is a single row of hydraulically adjustable levelling paddles and a rear packer to finish the process. The show model was equipped with a twin DD packer, however, there are four other packer options to choose from. Uniquely, each of the three available working widths share a common chassis meaning the narrower models can be made wider by changing the outer folding wings, as opposed to changing the entire machine.
