Previously offering two options of four-rotor rakes, Kuhn have extended this offering to include the GA 13031 four-rotor machine.
The GA 13031 has an adjustable working width between 8.4m and 12.5m.
This rake was designed to be a simple machine. Unlike the other models in the offering, the GA 13031 is not an Isobus-compatible machine.
A feature I thought was quite clever and practical, and remains unique to Kuhn, is the 100% hydraulic rotor drive.
All folding/unfolding, working width and swath width adjustments are made using the tractor’s hydraulic valve.
Thus, reducing maintenance and greasing operations on secondary drive shafts compared to a design with mechanical rotor drive.
The machine is tidy on the road, with a transport width of 3m and a height less than 4m.
