In 2023, Case IH expanded its Quadtrac range with the arrival of the 778hp 715 model. Its engineers have since listened to market demands and returned to the drawing board and developed a machine with almost 10% more power output.

The result is the Quadtrac 785, which churns out a rated 785hp which increases to a maximum 853hp, and undoubtedly is the markets closest contender for the latest generation green and yellow 9RX machines. In 2024, John Deere’s expanded its 9RX series to include a new 9RX 830 model which tops out at 915hp.

The new Quadtrac 785 offers a 40% torque rise and 8.6% power growth in comparison to the current 715 model. Fuelling the reworked 16l FPT Cursor engine is a 1,968l fuel tank allowing fewer fuel stops. Upgrades have also been made to the transmission, axles and differentials to cope with the increased power output.
