Hennessy Auctioneers will host its next online machinery auction on Saturday 17 April. It is expected a total of 400 lots will go under the hammer as part of the sale which is set to take place online via the Livestock Live (LSL) platform.

Viewing of lots will take place for the duration of the week in line with the current COVID-19 guidelines at the old mart site in Portlaoise (Eircode: R32 WT10). The yard will be open between the hours of 9am and 5pm daily as well as on the morning of the auction from 8am.

Bidding will commence at 11am on Saturday morning via LSL. All bidders need to be registered beforehand and have paid the €250 refundable deposit. Proxy bids will be accepted on larger items before the auction takes place.

As usual, there will be a good mix of tractors, farm machinery, and tools, plant and livestock equipment on offer.

Commission will be charged at a rate of 5% plus VAT (23%) on all lots, with a maximum fee of €1,000 plus VAT. All lots catalogued are ex VAT unless otherwise stated.
