Now that the international show jumping show at the Green Glens arena in Millstreet has finished it’s time for the international horse trials.
The first horse inspection was yesterday and the competition starts today.
The horse trials consists of eight international classes and two national eventing discovery classes.

The CICO3* FEI Eventing Nations Cup has attracted a large number of international entries with eight nations represented. Some of Ireland’s top riders will be competing in the class, including Sarah Ennis and Clare Abbott.
The dressage for the Nations Cup will be on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. The cross country will take place on Saturday, starting at 11:30am, and the final show jumping phase will be on Sunday.
Sally Corscadden named her team ahead of the Nations Cup earlier this week - Clare Abbott with Euro Prince, Sarah Ennis with Woodcourt Garrison, Austin O’Connor with Kilpatrick Knight and James O’Haire with China Doll.
All cross country will be held in the scenic grounds of the Drishane Castle, with panoramic views of the track for spectators.
For anyone wishing to attend the event admission is free.
