Kilkenny Macra na Feirme had a very successful stand at the recent Iverk Show in Piltown, south Kilkenny. Many members from all seven clubs in Kilkenny put in a tremendous effort to make the day a great success.
Evidence of the club’s achievements were on show on the day, with amazing trophies and promotional posters. Callan Macra proved to be an outstanding club within Kilkenny with their recent Farmskills trophy showcased alongside Kilkenny City ladies’ soccer trophy. The main highlight on the day was the dunk tank, with the Macra na Feirme national president Seán Finan taking part.
He was joined by the Kilkenny Macra chair Brendan Phelan, CEO Edmond Connolly and Kilkenny councillor Patrick O’Neill to name but a few.
