Last Saturday Inishowen Agricultural Show took place in Co Donegal. The show saw a strong entry of just over 400 sheep, entered into a large variety of class.
At the end of the day there was a super lineup of champions from each breed put forward for the interbreed final. It was not an easy job for the judges with the best of each breed put forward.
After much deliberation it was the super Blue Texel shearling ewe from Raphoe men Clive and Robbie Barnett that went on to secure the interbreed title. Overall reserve champion was then awarded to a serious-bodied Charollais ewe from William Tait.
