The competition is broken into three age categories, eight to 11-years-old, 12 to 16-years-old and 17 to 22-years-old. On the day, participants will be judged on their ability to present and show a lamb to it’s best potential, their general knowledge about the sheep, stock judging and other general information.
Organised by the Irish Shows Association, FBD Insurance and the Irish Farmers Journal, it is hoped there will be over 30 young people competing in the final.
