Having always held in-person sales, the Irish Salers Cattle Society has decided to stage something different this year. This weekend will see the Society host an online timed auction of pedigree bulls and heifers from 3-6 April, through Mid-Tipp Mart and MartEye.

It will feature 11 pre-inspected lots, including seven haltered bulls and five purebred registered heifers.

All animals are readily available for viewing on-farm before and during the online sale, giving potential buyers an opportunity to view sires, dams and other progeny on farms.

Prospective buyers are encouraged to register with Mid-Tipp Mart and MartEye prior to the sale.

The sale lots offer a range of different bloodlines with outcross genetics from right across the country.

Anyone interested in viewing the catalogue should contact the society office on 0838603729 or Mid-Tipp Mart on 050421499. Videos and pictures of all the animals are also available on the Irish Salers Facebook page as well as TikTok.

Those with any queries in relation to the online auction are asked to reach out to the society in the lead up to the sale. Bidding opens on Friday at 12pm and closes on Monday at 6pm.
