Sunday's 30th National Charolais Show drew some of the finest examples of the breed to the FBD National Livestock Show in Tullamore. Spectators and exhibitors came from every corner of the island to witness a memorable day for the Charolais breed in Ireland.

Judges for the pinnacle event were Mathew Milne of the Elgin Herd and John MacGregor of the Allanfauld Herd in Scotland.

Catching the eye of the Scotch men to win this year's supreme National Charolais Show champion was the senior female calf champion, Shacon Adorable ET. Exhibited by Shane Conlon from Co Monaghan, this visually impressive heifer has been ripping up the show scene this summer, claiming multiple red ribbons and championships along the way. Born in September 2025 and sired by the popular french bull Reglisse, her dam Goldstar Sephora was also on show on Sunday, clinching the reserve senior champion for Tipperary breeder, Martin Ryan.
