More than €75 million in SEAI grant funding approved to support over 4,500 businesses in 2025.
The record level of applications saw 4,500 businesses avail of various supports such as energy audits, commercial solar PV, and retrofits.
The figures were announced today as the SEAI Energy Show opens at the RDS, Dublin.

Residential retrofit demand also reached record highs in 2025, with 58,600 property upgrades supported, showing the recognition of the broad benefits of energy efficiency upgrades.
Speaking at the SEAI Energy Show, CEO of SEAI, William Walsh said “Ireland’s sustainable energy transition is a major business opportunity. There is huge demand for scalable solutions for retrofitting and clean energy technologies, growing markets at the heart of Ireland’s resilient and competitive future”.
