The fifth annual charity stock judging event in memory of the popular agricultural journalist, Joe Watson, is set to take place in the northeast on 18 May. Local branches of NFU Scotland’s northeast region have taken turns in hosting the event and social evening each year since 2014, when Joe passed away. This year Dee Don branch members Derek and Anne Bruce will host the event at their farm in Dorsell. The charity is UCAN.
