Nathan Carter is heading west again and it will be country all the way when he performs in concert at the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar, Co Mayo, for a country music weekend from 8-10 May.

The young singer, born and raised in Liverpool, has introduced an entire new generation to country music and he has played a central role in the revival of the genre among younger people. A major record deal with Decca will see a new album release in the UK, Ireland, Australia and America in 2015. These are exciting and hectic times for Nathan, his band and manager John Farry.

Nathan opens the weekend in Castlebar on Friday 8 May with his band in the TF Royal Theatre. Special guests on the night include Louise Morrissey and Brendan Quinn.

It is dancing all the way at the TF venue on the Saturday night, with local Mayo singer Gerry Guthrie and his band on stage for the first two hours at 9.30pm, followed by Nathan and the band. Admission is €20 and is payable at the door on the night.

On Sunday, there is a family dance from 2.30pm, featuring Nathan and special guest Hugo Duncan and friends. Children under 10 go free at this concert.

Tickets for the Friday night concert are now on sale from the box office. Call 094-9023111 to book your ticket or go online at www.theroyal.ie.

A special weekend package is also available from the Royal Hotel and Harlequin Hotel.
