Imported into Ireland by Brogan Tractors in Cloghan, Co Offaly, Tumosan and Armatrac tractors are becoming more common on farmyards up and down the country.

Michael Brogan told the Irish Farmers Journal Tumosan and Armatrac recently appointed four new dealers in Ireland. The first is new Tumosan dealer Paul Brogan of Western Tractors Ltd in Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Co Galway.

Next up is Alan Farrar near Rathdrum, Co Wicklow, who has been appointed as a Tumosan dealer. In the south, Martin O’Sullivan, Asdee, Co Kerry has also been appointed as a Tumosan dealer. In the east, Byrne Agri Sales in Castlemore, Tullow, Co Carlow has been appointed as an Armatrac dealer. These appointments bring to 15 the number of Tumosan and Armatrac dealers in Ireland.

Michael said there are now 300 Tumosan tractors working in the country.

He first showcased Armatrac tractors in Ireland at the Ploughing in 2016 before registering his first tractors in January 2017. Since, then there have been close to 40 Armatrac tractors sold in Ireland. Last year, 60 Tumosan tractors and 21 Armatrac tractors were sold.
